We are excited to introduce the final version of the ModDev P320 Armorers Puck. Our journey began with a need for a more efficient way to assemble and disassemble P320s, which we handle daily. After compiling the necessary functions, we developed an initial prototype. Following thorough internal and external testing, we recognized areas for improvement. Over the past year, Sig Sauer Armorers, techs, and field specialists tested the tool and provided invaluable feedback. We’ve incorporated their suggestions into our final version, and it’s now ready for you!
ModDev P320 Armorers Puck Features:
Take Down Lever Assist
The Take Down Lever Assist on the Puck allows you to effortlessly slide in the takedown lever and turn it without any hassle. You can also use the pin to push out the takedown lever. The Puck is designed to fit our favorite takedown lever made by Align Tactical.
Fire Control Unit Removal Assist
The horseshoe cutout on the Puck allows for effortless removal of the FCU from the grip module.
Fire Control Unit Holder
The FCU Holder is specifically designed to match the profile of the FCU, providing a stable rest that allows you to perform tasks like driving out pins while holding the FCU in place. The FCU can be set on either side, allowing you to work on both sides of the unit.
Back Plate Removal Assist
The Puck features a backplate cutout that is profiled to match the rear of the P320 slide. This cutout incorporates a small metal pin that presses down the extractor spring pin, simplifying the removal of the backplate and providing access to the extractor pin, spring, and striker mechanism.
Striker Assembly Holder
The Striker holder helps experienced armorers with the disassembly of the striker mechanism. While not recommended for general use, it provides a stable platform for those needing to work on the striker. Note: ModDev & Sig Sauer do not recommend working on the striker mechanism.
Vertical Slide Rest
The Puck’s slide cutout allows you to rest the slide vertically, making it easier to work on the rear of the slide, such as reinstalling the backplate.
Magnetic Pod
The magnetic pod allows you to put any pins, springs, etc that you take off your unit in a safe place while you work. We designed this with a raw environment in mind, where you are not at your work bench.
